“Midosuji”, the main street of Osaka. Famous for its row of “Gingko Trees” brightly colored in the fall.
“Midosuji kappo 2009” will be held on October 11 (Sunday) when Midosuji will be open for pedestrians for one day only. This is an event to encounter the new charms of Osaka.

Hitherto, there was the “Midosuji Parade”. Last year this was revived as the “Midosuji kappo”, a participation event for the people of Osaka and anyone else who wants to join in .
Celebrating its second year this fall, approx. 1.9 km will be opened to pedestrians. A facinating program has been prepared, including a local product fair from places all around Japan and an eco-car show.
