Artists and Creators, why not decorate Osaka with your masterpieces?
Osaka prefecture held a kick-off event of the “Osaka Canvas Project” on June 7 this year with the message of “Transform Osaka into a Canvas!”
Participants at the kick-off event included Mr. Kenji Yanobe, who was very active at Aqua Metropolis Osaka 2009 and the recipient of the Osaka Cultural Award last year. Two of his works, the 4 meter-long “Lucky Dragon” and the 3.3 meter-long “Giant Torayan”, performed a spectacular flaming contest to liven up the event.
