Entrance of Osaka Pavilion – spectacular façade

EXPO 2010 Shanghai China has been open since the beginning of this month. Pavilions are on display by countries from all around the world and international organizations, bustling with crowds of visitors. Osaka Prefecture and Osaka City jointly sponsor Osaka Pavilion. Japan Pavilion and Japanese Industry Pavilion are also exhibited from Japan.

This EXPO 2010 Shanghai China features the “Urban Best Practice Area”, a zone exhibiting practice cases in advanced cities. Osaka is the only metropolis from Japan to exhibit in the zone.

The theme of Osaka Pavilion is an “Environmentally Advanced City, The Challenge of Water Metropolis Osaka”. We are trying to make Water Metropolis Osaka appealing, surrounded by rivers with which Osaka has lived beside, fought against and made friends with for a long time, to China and to the world.We are introducing the charm of such an Osaka Pavilion this time!
