The Osaka Prefectural government is promoting “Osaka, The Museum Concept” in which the whole prefecture is likened to a “museum”. Under this concept, attractive resources which are locally available are likened to “exhibits” and “museum events”, despatching their charm to both domestic and international destinations.
The “Special Exhibit” links together festivals and events per season utilizing “registered items” of “Osaka, The Museum” and spreads their charm over a wide area. The special exhibit of this fiscal year is focused on the Kawachi district, located in the southeast of Osaka. The Kawachi district is replete with historical townscapes and is rich in nature. This month, we are introducing the charm of Minamikawachi among the various Kawachi districts, in a digest version.
